Hard side or soft side they both work great. hard side is def stronger, after you done welding, the rivets you use on the skin does a good job of making a solid frame. but i still have no problem hunting a soft side as long as it is a boat blind, im not a fan of pop-ups. you had mentioned something about extra doors on the blind for better access.. The boat blind has a 27-inch high front section and a 36-inch high back section, with both sections curving into the boat gunwales contours. "because the blind is only 3 feet higher than the side of the boat at its highest point, it also creates a low profile that doesn't stick up like some blinds do. the wind can blow as hard as it. Hard-sided duck boat blinds more.
